I stayed for one night in the adjacent Travelodge before I moved onto The Swan Hotel in Wadebridge. The food at The Falcon was very good. I had a mixed grill which was very tasty and had a chocolate eclair cake for desert. The beer, Fosters Extra Chilled, was excellent and the staff were very friendly and asked where I was from (Fife, Scotland) and how long I was staying in the area. If Im ever in the area again Id definitely make the Falcon a food stop.
Very nice restaurant. When seated, order your food and drinks at the bar. Food was very tasty and nice sized portions.
Visited on a Sunday at 6pm, it was quiet and we were served quickly. The meals were lovely, quality meat, large portions. We were so full we couldn't squeeze in dessert. We'd definitely return when in the area.
A corporate Travelodge but stopped by for a bite with friends at Christmas. The set Christmas menu was excellent value, not fine dining but great for catching up with friends. The rest of the menu looked good. The staff were very friendly and looked after us do well. Would definitely return in the future.
Service was dreadful, they forgot our main courses which were not very hot and the Yorkshire puddings had been deep fried. We had to chase up the desserts and as coffees had still not arrived another 20 minutes later we gave up waiting and left. It was not particularly busy for visit very disappointed.
