Lovely morning coffee but sadly no snacks to go with. Nice warm woodburner and friendly welcome from a smashing bar maid. Our "local" when we're down that way.
Great Pub and beautiful food.Spent new year's night there and they had a first class singer play.Beer was also spot on.The only down side is I can't go more often as I live 250 miles away.But me and the misses are going back in February and next new year.
Service for drinks when we arrived was quick. Food tasted great, had the muscles to start, a great portion size full of flavour. For the main I had the beef steak burger which was also amazing.
Recently taken over by new management and what a transformation! We took a big group after a long walk in polzeath for lunch (luckily pre-booked as it was popular) - the food and service were superb. I would highly recommend and will be returning!
Couldnt have asked for a better experience. Best meal Ive had, especially considering its a small pub. Fresh Tuna steak was cooked perfectly, paired with oriental noodles, which was a perfect combination.Amazing environment, reasonable priced, well decorated interior and exterior and best of all dogs are aloud inside.Definitely recommend.
