The Earl of St Vincent is quite simply a One Off amazing family run pub which must be visited to be appreciated .The food and drink were fine & we were made to feel welcome but the conversation soon turns to the vast collection of over 200 different clocks which are crammed in to every available space within the pub.Cuckoo to Grandfather , wall to mantle , every conceivable shape size & design , whether you like clocks or not you must visit this place where time never stands still .

We have just had a very rude welcome if you can call it that. We have a small dog who is not allowed in due to hygiene when the toilets are outside and smell, have mould on the ceiling with cobwebs and snails. I politely asked for the heating to be put on outside to be told very abruptly no it doesn't work. One and a half pints of local lager plus a large flat coke cost 10 pounds exactly! Would not recommend this pub in a million years. The time we went to this establishment was 8pm.
A remarkable Inn. Pints well pulled. No excessive head. Pleasant professional family service. Everything shining and very well cared for. We will try their food next time. Have high hopes!Oh, yes.. Be prepared to be astonished by the windups!?Cheers.
Celebrated our anniversary this evening in this delightful 14th century Inn. We both had a fillet steak cooked to perfection and a gorgeous pudding. The staff were lovely, friendly and very attentive. loved all the clocks and the chimes throughout the evening. Thank you so much for making our evening special.
