We had a lovely August holiday there, it was very windy, but the staff were helpful and kept every where clean and tidy, showers and washing up facilities are free. They have an on site restaurant, little bit pricey though. Beach 2 mins down the road. Great place for the kids.
Unbelievably helpful and friendly owner. Excellent shower block, never had to queue. Views over the cliffs during sunset are magical
Nice campsite with good facilities and a great view of Polzeath and out to sea. My only warning is the wind (although the clue is in the name) - it is quite exposed so can be very windy indeed!
We've been here for the last eight years.This is a very excellent campsite with fantastic views out to sea, well defined plots and "mainly horizontal". all the facilities are good the whole place is well managed. They have most facilities, washing machines tumble dryers heated shower and toilet block well maintained no flaky paint revolting floors or unpleasant smells. Plus very helpful staff.
Stayed for a week last August. Lovely site, really friendly staff, clean facilities, level pitch and nice and quiet. 10min walk along a path to the beach. Nearest superstore is 15 min by car and there is a small convenience store in Polzeath next to the surf hire. There is a small stock of essentials that can be bought from the office if needed too. Plan to go back again this summer!
