Scone and butter 3.50 looks and tastes like supermarket bought. Bacon sandwich 4.50 just about acceptable but on basic brown sliced bread when there is a proper bakery in town. Who thinks 3.50 is a reasonable price for a toasted teacake? They mention locally sourced food by which I think they mean the Coop just behind. There are plenty of cheaper and better cafe's within a couple of minutes walk.
Smallish area with wooden chairs and tables. Kitchen at the back but not open for customers to see. Friendly staff. Tables cleared quickly. Possible to sit at table on the pavement outsideMenu ok - includes sandwiches, panniniPossibly a little more expensive than other areas but food good.
Overpriced, misleading menu. 11 for two tea cakes and tea is way too much. Lost it's charm of the last few years that we've been going. Looks like it's changed ownership, the lovely young lady who used to run it wasn't there which is a shame. Plenty of other cafs in town to try and we will.
Lovely food, really love how it's decorated. You MUST use their loo! Staff friendly too!
What a beautiful gem of a Cafe, wonderful food, great atmosphere and very friendly staff. I would highly recommend a visit.
